Charleston area churches to hold Easter sunrise services
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Attending a sunrise service on Easter Sunday is a longstanding tradition by churches and congregations looking to mark the holy holiday.
People can attend services near The Battery in downtown Charleston, Breach Inlet on Sullivan’s Island, or Hutchinson Square in Summerville.
The forecast for Easter weekend looks nice with temperatures in the mid-80s and plenty of sunshine. If you are attending one of these sunrise services, expect temperatures in the low 60s with some cloud cover.
