1 dead, 1 injured after collision near Goose Creek

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – One person has died, and another was injured after vehicles collided near Goose Creek, state troopers said Friday.

At approximately 6:11 p.m., a 2018 Toyota Tacoma traveling east on US 176 collided with a 2016 Honda CRV traveling west at the intersection of Radcliff Road.

Both drivers were taken to a nearby hospital. The driver of the CRV succumbed to their injuries at the hospital, according to Lance Cpl. Brittany Glover.

The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has not yet identified the deceased. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating this collision.
