2 displaced after camper fire spread to nearby home
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A camper fire spread to a home in the Wescott Plantation community Saturday morning.
The North Charleston Fire Department and assisting agencies responded to a home on North Moretto Circle around 11:35 a.m.
Officials said a camper that caught on fire spread to the house. It took fire crews roughly 50 minutes to extinguish the flames.
Two seniors were displaced. No one was injured; however, one person was checked out by EMS.
The North Charleston Fire Department is investigating.
